Getting Started At CrossFit 570
CrossFit by definition is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. They are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time or power. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort. Functional movements and intensity lead to dramatic gains in fitness.
Bringing The Power To Your Workouts
Weightlifting is an important and specific part of Crossfit, it focuses on improving the Olympic lifts (the snatch and the clean & jerk) with proper technique. Every class is lead by an experienced and educated Coach. Classes are perfect for those looking to either become competitive in weightlifting, or, those looking to fine tune their skills for transfer over to their functional fitness training. All experience levels are welcome!
Push Yourself To The Limits
Our Endurance classes take you through an interval circuit of predominately cardio type exercises that will train the most important muscle in your body – your heart! With a focus on sustainability (of pace and energy) over longer periods of time where you will change exercise format and movements to keep your mind sharp, your body guessing and to burn lots of calories in the process. Using equipment such as our rowing machines and air bikes, as well as tools such as jump ropes, sleds, kettlebells, medicine balls and more. We can get a workout that is scalable for all fitness levels and yet challenges anyone, no matter the fitness level.
